Monica Hofman received a grant to develop her new theatre production. In Datingshow voor papa, Monica goes in search of a new partner for her father. But who actually has the most interest in this? And what should this person meet? In this search for and about loving, we see the special bond of a daughter and her widowed father, whom she seems to be wishing all the love in the world.

Monica graduated from HKU's acting school in 2023. Here she did internships with the Nieuw Utrechts Toneel, de Veenfabriek, TG ECHO and Bambie. She then performed with her graduation solo at Noorderzon and appeared in the show Dit is van ons by the Utrecht company Aluin.
