Project grant

Thomas Nicolas received a grant to develop his debut EP. Each track on this EP tells its own story, offering a glimpse into Thomas' perspective on the world and his place within it. Rooted in the tradition of storytelling singer-songwriters, his sound is distinctly contemporary and refreshingly new.

Singer-songwriter Thomas Nicolas was discovered as a street musician in Vondelpark by Alain Clark in the spring of 2022. That summer, Thomas signed with the label 8ball Music, and a few months later, he released his debut single Lost Love, which was immediately named TopSong on Radio 2. Over the past year, he released two more singles and performed at various venues, including Jinek, Coen en Sander, Het Muziekcafé, and Paradiso Noord.
