Neon River

Neon River received a grant to develop an EP. The band creates instrumental electronic music, drawing inspiration from artists like Flying Lotus, Salami Rose Joe Louis, Aphex Twin, and Floating Points. Neon River takes the sounds and techniques of electronic music producers and translates them into a live-band format, adding a new layer of excitement to the genre. For their debut EP, they are working on five tracks that combine their deep, grooving live sound with an adventurous and cohesive production style, in collaboration with Mark Schilders.

The Amsterdam-based trio’s music can be described as an electronic indie dance experiment designed to keep everyone moving all night long. Blending the sounds and approach of electronic producers into a live band format, they bring fresh energy to the genre. After their live debut in late June 2024 at OCCII in Amsterdam, Neon River performed their second show on September 13th in collaboration with label and record store Sounds Good, in Seoul, South Korea.
