MaDaBa

MaDaBa, also known as The City of Mosaics, is a new musical trio initiated by Nawras Altaky. MaDaBa's music is influenced by middle eastern Maqam music blended with contemporary jazz and playful improvisations. Their compositions are influenced by Arabic melodies, jazz harmonies and classical counterpoints with which they explore the limitless possibilities of rhythmical grooves, expressive melodies, contemporary harmonies and electronic soundscapes.
