Nana M. Rose

Nana M. Rose received a grant to write a follow-up to her EP Feathers, further deepening and enriching her new retro-pop sound. The EP will feature vintage Hollywood strings reminiscent of the early twentieth century, combined with a raw, heartbreaking emotion for which Nana M. Rose is internationally acclaimed.

Nana M. Rose writes sensitive, alternative pop ballads inspired by powerful, female pop icons like Adele and Lana del Rey, as well as legendary songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Carole King. Nana's delicate, poetic lyrics explore the meaning of human connection in an ultra-competitive, individualistic world. As a child, Nana began playing the violin, whose classical influence can still be found in her carefully crafted melodies and arrangements. She performs regularly in both the UK and the Netherlands, with shows at venues such as The Macbeth (London) and Luxor Arnhem (NL). Her first EP Feathers is currently out on all streaming platforms.
