Baby, I Have Your Back

Marina Menéndez-Pidal received a grant for the development of an interdisciplinary, traveling exhibition, in collaboration with Max Oosterholt, Aline Papenheim and Laura Fernandez Antolin. Baby, I Have Your Back is a performative exhibition about embracing femininity and walking in public spaces at night collaboratively. The project aims to create a reflective space on femininity and public presence through collaborative walks documented and shared through exhibitions in various queer-friendly bars and restaurants in the Netherlands.

Marina is an artist/designer exploring femininity and public space through night walks documented in different forms. Max is the walking partner based in Rotterdam. Aline is a photographer based in the Hague. Laura is a costume designer based in Berlin.
