Polonyna

Marta Hryniuk and Nick Thomas received a project grant for their film Polonyna.

The film, a collaboration between Marta Hryniuk and Nick Thomas, follows Khrystyna Bunii as she travels solo across remote south-west Ukraine in pursuit of her amateur ethnographic research. The sequences of this poetic journey do not elucidate the history of the region, but rather call for an associative labour from ethnographer and spectator alike.
