The Amarte Foundation (hereafter ‘Amarte’ or ‘we’) is a private foundation with the mission to support innovative talent in arts and culture by providing financial means and, where possible, coaching, knowledge and experience. On our website www.amarte.nl (hereafter ‘website’) we put information about the projects that have received a contribution from Amarte.

Privacy
Amarte processes your personal information when you have submitted an application or have subscribed to our newsletter. Your personal information is only saved and processed by Amarte in accordance with the relevant legislation around data protection, including the new AVG-law that has been in effect since May 25th 2018.
Personal data will not be sold, published, or forwarded in any way, and will not be saved longer than strictly necessary.

This Privacy Policy considers personal data as follows: all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person or individual who can be identified from those data, provided by that natural person or by those that represent other natural individuals (legal entities, organizations, collaborations, etc.)
Goal
Amarte processes your personal information to process and review your application.
Moreover, we save your information in order to call or email when needed to execute our activities. Finally, we save your information to send you our newsletter (MailChimp), if you have subscribed to it.
Term
For granted applications we save personal data of the filled out application form and acceptance letter for a term of 10 years. All other documentation and data will be deleted after a maximum of 5 years after submitting the application.
Of the rejected applications we save personal data of the filled out form and the rejection letter for a term of 5 years. All other documentation and data will be deleted 1 year after submitting the application.
Sharing of personal information
Amarte only shares personal data with third parties if this is necessary to execute the agreement with you (e.g.: bank, accountant, expert), or to meet legal obligations (e.g.: tax authorities).
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you accept the transfer of data between Amarte and MailChimp. MailChimp serves as an intermediary sending email messages and executing actions initiated by Amarte.

Our website uses cookies. We use cookies to simplify logging in to our website and to enable you to save your settings and preferences. You can reject these cookies through your browser, but this could negatively affect the functionality of our website.

You have the right to review your data as it is known to Amarte, adjust or delete it. If you would like to review your personal data, adjust or delete, you can send us a request through info@amarte.nl. To be sure this request was made by you, we ask you to attach a copy of your ID or passport. To ensure your privacy, please cross out your picture, MRZ, passport number and BSN number. You have the possibility of filing a complaint about the way in which we deal with your personal data here.
Security
Amarte takes the security of your data seriously and takes fitting measures to combat abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unsolicited publications, and unauthorized adjustments. If you suspect your data is not protected sufficiently, or there are indications of abuse, please contact us at info@amarte.nl
